We are one nation one creator putting youth to work to cure violence
​My name is James Henderson, of Henderson Preservation Company LLC. I’m originally from Chicago’s south side and was negatively featured in a documentary called The Interrupters. It is a documentary that highlights the issue of drug and gang violence in Chicago and individuals that changed their life around to make positive changes in their community.
Currently, I and my family live in North Carolina. I have recently retired from the security field after 25 years of service and have started my own business with my wife. Henderson Preservation Company LLC is a landscaping and cleaning company and we would love to give back to the community. I’m reaching out to get back involved with the community here in Charlotte as well as giving back by offering jobs to Charlotte’s youth. Violence is like a disease that needs to be cured. I helped create part of the problem now I want to be part of the solution.
